The market opened about where it closed on Friday, then rallied.

We can expect the market to continue to take back some of Thursday's move lower in the near term.

Profit is secondary to recovery of losses and getting flat.
This will apply to apply to all trades that do not follow through.

This comes into play when the market encounters a support and resistance level and either bounces off or retreats from.
In this case the first naked close signal is taken as the entry point.
This signal differs from the W in that it can occur wherever support and resistance levels occur whereas the W signals generally occur at trend tops and bottoms.

 I just could not get in sync with the market today an a pretty much back in the same place as a few days ago with a short trade in a rising market.
The period of tight range bound trading from about 10:00 am really messed me up and the Flipping Strategy really did not work well today.
Back to Plan B.




















The Total Net Profit is not correct. It does not calculate in all the commissions and exchange fees.









Did good in the early trading, got behind on the open, struggled back then the wheels really fell off.

In the short term, next couple of days, we should expect a rally to take back some of last weeks losses before continuing lower. Swing Trade Strategies Yesterday I mentioned a Swing Trade Strategy that I follow that needs a bit of work to improve it's performance. This strategy is based on the Naked Close concept. First of all what is a Naked Close? There are 2 types of naked closes. For a show of strength the close of this bar is higher than the high of the previous bar. I call this a Naked Close Long signal. For a show of weakness the close of this bar is lower than the low of the previous bar. I call this a Naked Close Short signal. In the chart below, a daily chart of the S&P 500 e-mini, the green dots indicate bars with a Naked Close Long signal and the red dots indicate bars with Naked Close Short signals.
