July 28th, 2017 - S&P 500 e-Mini - Trading Activity - Today's Real Money Profit $0, Sim Trade Loss -$861
Opening Comments
The overnight activity looks a bit more encouraging for our short position.
The late day rally, double test of the 2472 resistance level followed by a decline back to near yesterdays lows is the first time for a few days that we have seen any serious selling pressure in the overnight market.
We are short 8 contracts with an average price of 2440.00.
Our target is held over from early last week at 2419.25.
Profit Target for this week is $350 per day, once we close out the current open position.
Based on cycle and inter-market analysis that we follow, we are expecting a market correction in the near term, before the end of July.
Real Money Trading S&P 500 e-Mini
We are short 8 contracts from last with an average price of 2440.00
The 50% Fibonacci retracement level is at 2440.
This puts us in a pretty good position for the pullback in the market that we are anticipating.
Target set at 2419.25.
We continue to monitor the situation.
Yesterday's sell off into the 2459 level and the overnight decline back to near this level is encouraging, but we are not out of the woods yet.
The 50% retracement level now sits at 2441.25, just above our Break Even.
To gain back our $350 per day profit target, as of today, we would need to make $5,000 on this trade.
That would put our target around the 2426 level which is a retracement of about 70%.
This may be overly optimistic.
Today was a day of indecision in the markets.
An inside day with a lower close can be an Bullish indicator.
And, the end of day rally into the weekend is concerning considering the short position we are in.
We will see what next week brings

Will continue to test this new Flip Trade concept.
What we are doing is on trades that do not follow through we will Flip with 5 contracts.
So, the first trade we start with 1 contract, if it does not follow through, we flip to a net position of 5 contracts, if this does not follow through we flip again with a net position of 5 contracts.
We continue this until we have a good trade that follows through then start over with 1 contract.
