May 9th, 2017 - S&P 500 e-Mini - Trading Activity - Today's Profit $570

Not much of interest in the overnight market since yesterday's close.
The usual sideways movement in a narrow range.
A little flurry of activity around the European open at 2:30, but nothing significant.

Just after 4:00 am the market broke higher and had a small rally back up close to the 2400 range.
Nothing I considered trade-able based on the price action and signals.
Finished the Pre-Market with no trades.

Switch to the Real Account for the Open Trade.
Setting up for the Open Trade.
The last bar to close on the 10,000 tick was at 7:50 so no signal there and we will go with the 30 min chart.
Market appears to be pulling back from this early morning rally back near historic highs.
The 8:30, 30 min bar was wobbling between long and short. I decided to take the short trade based on the 2,000 charts. Went short 2 @ 2397.75. Set target on both at 2396.75.
The 30 min signal ended up being a long signal. The market declined into my target, but I did not get a fill, then rallied to test the mover night high before coming back down and taking out my target.
Flat in the Real Money account with a $90.00 profit.
Could have taken 1 point in either direction. This happens about 80% of the time.
This mornings action also show that getting filled is not always a guarantee even if your price is hit.

After taking out the target on my real money trade the market moved lower making a lower near term low on the 2,000 tick chart, then rallied into the day high. The  30 min, 10,000 tick and 2,000 tick give a buy signal all about the same time. Took 2 long @ 2398.75. Target @ 2399.75.
Target hit, we are flat with $95 profit.

2,000 tick pulled back and made a higher short term low then rallied into a buy signal. Long 2 @ 2399.50. Target @2400.50.
No follow through on this trade. The 2,000 tick chart took a couple of runs at the 2,400 level and could not break through. Came up short on the 3rd attempt making a lower short term high and then broke lower into a sell signal. Flipped the trade taking 7 short at an average price of 2397.40. 2 to cover the longs and 5 for recovery. Target @ 2396.50.
The 10,000 tick chart gave us a sell signal a bit later with an entry at 2397.25. Moved our target down to 2396.25 based on this signal.
Took a while for this trade to follow through, but finally the target was hit and we are flat with $165 profit.
Went short again on the break out of consolidation on the 2,000 tick chart. Short 2 @ 2395.75. Target @ 2394.75.
Shortly thereafter the 10,000 tick gave us a sell signal with an entry @ 2395.50 so we move the target down to 2394.50.
The 30 min chart gave us a sell signal on the 10:30 bar with an entry point @ 2396.50. Moved the target up to 2395.50 based on this signal.
No follow through on this trade. 2,000 tick rallied, pulled back, formed a higher short term low then rallied into a buy signal. Flipped the trade taking 6 long @ 2397.25. 2 to cover the shorts and 4 for recovery. Target @ 2398.25.
The market struggled higher and hit the target. We are flat with $200 profit.
No easy money today.

10,000 tick give us a buy signal. Long 2 @ 2397.50. Target @ 2398.50.
No follow through on this trade. The 30 min chart gave us a sell signal at 12:00 am. Short 9 @ 2394.75. 2 to cover the longs and 7 for recovery, Target @ 2393.75.
Took a while and had to go through a rally, but it finally declined into our target and took us out.
We are flat with $255 profit.

About 12:30 both the 10,000 tick and 30 min charts gave us sell signals. Short 2 @ 2392.50. Target @ 2391.50.
The 2,000 tick rallied into a lower high then declined into a sell signal. Took 2 more short @ 2394.00 for an average price of 2393.25. Move the target to 2392.25.
Once again no follow through. The 2,000 tick rallied, pulled back, formed a higher short term low then rallied into a buy signal. Took 14 contracts long @ 2394.00. 4 to cover the shorts and 10 for recovery. Target@ 2395.00.
Got some follow through target hit. We are flat with a  $570 profit.

It is now 14:00 and we will call it a wrap for the day.
Summaries and charts posted below.
The entire day was a struggle, tight trading range and a lot of flip flops.
The Last trade of the day accounted for almost half the days profits.
I accidentally took more contracts than calculated.
Got luck and it worked in my favour.
