So, What is this Open Trade.

Statistically  if you enter on the open there is an 80% probability that the market will move up 1 point and down 1 point from the open within the next 30 minutes.

What this means is that it does not matter which way you go, long or short, you have an 80% chance of making 1 point.

If you start to take into account the market price action prior to the open, things like whether the 30 minute bar closes above or below the previous close, if there is a close above or below the previous bar high or low, you can improve those odds.

I've been pretty accurate with a nearly 100% rating.

Today I picked the market to go short on the open based on the lower close on the 30 minute bar ending at 8:30.

The market opened at 2330.75. I got short at 2331.
The market moved against me by about 2 points then moved in my direction and took out my target at 2329.75 which gave me 1.25 points of profit on the trade.
